Jesus is Divine
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent
the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him,

A. Jesus is
called Divine by the Scriptures.
1. And lo a
voice from heaven saying, this is My beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased. Matthew 3:17
2. When he
yet speaks, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of
the cloud, which said, this is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear
ye Him. Matthew 17:5
3. But unto
the Son He said, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, a sceptre of
righteousness is the sceptre of Your kingdom.
Hebrews 1:8
B. Jesus is
called Divine by the Scriptures.
1. The
beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
2. And
Thomas, the apostle, answered and said unto Him, my Lord and my God. John 20:28
3. Peter
calls Him God. And Simon Peter answered
and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Matthew 16:16
4. Even the
demons recognized Him as God. And,
behold the devils cried out saying, what have we to do with You, Jesus, Thou
Son of the God. Are You coming here to
torment us before the time? Matthew 8:29
5. Paul saw
Him as God. Concerning His Son Jesus
Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
6. Apostle
John saw Him God. These shall make war
with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and
King of kings and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and
faithful. Revelation 17:14
C. Jesus
claimed to be God. Jesus said, I and My
Father are one. John 10:30
1. He said He
was greater than Abraham. Jesus said
unto them, verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58
2. He
received worship reserved worship reserved only for God. Then they that were in the ship came and
worshipped Him, saying, of a truth You are the Son of God. Matthew 14:33
3. He forgave
sins, a privilege reserved only for God.
When Jesus saw their faith, He said unto the sick of the palsy, Son,
your sins be forgiven you. Mark 2:5-11
4. In His personal
prayer He claimed to be God. And He
said, and now, O Father, glorify Thou Me with Your Own Self with the glory
which I had with You before the world was.
John 17:5
5. He
promises to return in the glory of His Father with His angels. And Jesus said, for the Son of man shall come
in the glory of His Father with His angels; and then He shall reward every man
according to his works. Matthew 16:27
D. Jesus is
called Creator and Sustainer of life.
For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in
earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions or
principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: and He is before all things and by Him all
things consist. Colossians 1:16
1. He holds
the world and upholds all things by His power.
Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His
person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by
Himself purged our sins, and sat down on the right hand on the Majesty on
high. Hebrews 1:3
If at this moment, you
are still did not know the true nature of Christ as the Son of God, pls. check
amongst all people who shares about God, who amongst them rose from the dead? No one, and no man, except Jesus, right? This is why do not let this day pass by
without you, surrendering and giving your life to Jesus, for He said and I
quote, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believed in Me, though he
were dead, yet shall he live. John 11;25:
“Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a
sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness.
I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come
into my heart and life. I want to trust
and follow You as my Lord and Saviour.
